Happy New Year!

It's been quite busy here at the after school club and we apologize for not keeping up on the blog lately. 2013 has come and gone and we can't wait for 2014. Here are the January calendar and newsletter. Don't forget about the field trip on Friday the 24th to Macey's Grocery. Also keep your eyes peeled for information regarding our upcoming parent night.

Field Trip

Parents and families of after school club!

We have field trip coming up! Next Tuesday we are taking a walk to Merlin Olsen Central Park for a field day, or snow day, depending on the weather. We'll hope for a nice sunny, brisk fall day for some fun in the park. Please pick up a pink permission slip from the sign out table and return it by next Monday, the 18th, if your child wishes to attend.

Please let us know if you would like to join us! We would love for any parents or siblings to join us.

November Calendar & Newsletter

Back In the Blogosphere

Hi there! We assume that because you're reading this you are a parent or family member of a Wilson After School Club Student. If you haven't been here before, welcome! If you have been here you'll notice some changes. Lots of things at After School Club have changed this year, not just this blog. We have new teachers, new students, new policies, and we're making lots of new friends!

We hope that your ASC experience so far has been a positive one! It's already November. Can you believe how fast this year is going? We apologize for not updating the blog till now, and thank our faithful readers for checking back even when hopes of an update were looking grim. Speaking of our faithful readers, are you one? If not, please become one! Right now we think there are about six and a half faithful readers, but we would like this number to grow.

Here are the types of things you have to look forward to here on the Wilson ASC blog.

• Electronic versions of the monthly calendar and newsletter
• Updates about days off school and ASC
• Pictures from field trips and other ASC activities
• Information about parent nights

November calendar and newsletter finalizations are being made so keep your eyes out for them here on the blog and at the sign-in/out table at the school.

Thanks to all the students are parents who made parent night a smashing success! The final count at the corn maze was 95. We hope you had as much fun as we did and hope you'll join us for the next one!

April/May Calendar & Newsletter

Parents and students! The countdown is on. Only 15 more days of after school club left. Please note that ASC ends on May 10th even though regular school will continue till May 30th.

Take a look at the calendar and newsletter below for the rest of the year. The following are some important dates to take note of.

-Put on your thinking caps and bring your smarts! Parent trivia night is on May 2nd at 5:35.
-Our spring clean up service project will be on Monday, April 29th at 4:45.
-May 10th is the annual ASC water party!

Keep your eyes open for parent night flyers and information regarding the water party.
